In order to cultivate scientific approach in the rural students, a science park has been set up at the government high school of village Toot, which was inaugurated by the deputy commissioner Mr. Chander Gaind.The park has covered the various disciplines of science such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Space Science and Rocket Science along with the working models of all subjects to enable students to decipher the minute issues of science.School in charge state awardee Mr. Jasvir Singh being the pivot of the project said that in the modern scientific and digital era, it is important that our children have the complete understanding of various disciplines of science besides theoretical knowledge. Considering this thought in mind, this park has been set up in the school by spending Rs. 3 lakh.The park carries out the information on all aspects through working models like what is our solar system, how an eclipse takes place, how electricity is produced in the power dam, what is a missile, how Bio-gas is produced, what is a satellite and how it works in the space, which vegetables and fruits contain what kind of vitamins and minerals?  All this information will penetrate into the minds of school going children during their primitive days so that they will remember it for a long time, said school in charge Jasvir Singh.

The deputy commissioner while visiting the science park hailed the efforts of the school in charge and said that the method will enable them to perform better in the field of science besides cultivating a scientific approach in them.After inaugurating the science park Mr. Gaind then planted saplings in the school premises and exhorted students to understand the value of environmental protection. He called upon the students to plant maximum saplings these days and ensure the growth of the plants planted by them.The deputy commissioner took a round of the school ground and interacted with the girls' handball team. He asked the students to openly oppose the drugs so that the coming new generation is united against this menace. Making an appeal to the students, he said that in case they notice anyone in their relations or in the neighbor is addicted to drugs; try to help him to come out of this problem by getting him admitted in the de-addiction center. Likewise, those who are doing the illegal business of drugs, intimation to the police be given to take swift action.On the occasion Assistant Commissioner Ranjit Singh, Chairman School management committee Bhupinder Singh, Panchayat Member Resham Singh, Prithi Singh, Laxman Singh,  Rubi Veer, Makhan Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Baldev Singh, Jasvir Singh, and others were Present.
