Deputy Commissioner, S.A.S. Nagar Girish Dayalan today listened to the grievances of the allottees, waiting to take possession of the flats of Royal Empire Project, Dhakoli (Zirakpur) along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney and SP (City) Mr. Harvinder Singh at District Administrative Complex here.During the meeting, people demanded that registration of these flats should be permitted and possession would be given to them at the earliest. Upon hearing the complaints, the Deputy Commissioner assured them that administration is committed to make every possible effort to provide relief to the victims. "We will explore every legal possibility to resolve this matter under Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), a suitable statuary body", he added. On the demand to develop infrastructure in the project, Mr. Dayalan said that these problems will be resolved promptly and a meeting will be convened after 10 days to review the work done in this regard. He assured the people that no injustice will be done to anyone. Other officials who were present included Mr. Girish Verma, Executive Officer of Municipal Council, Zirakpur, Mr. Rajesh Jindal ATP and Shelly Raj AME. It is pertinent to mention that Home Affairs Department, Punjab has constituted committee under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner to resolve the issues of the allottees.
