Newly appointed Health and Family Welfare Minister of Punjab Balbir Singh Sidhu on Friday assumed the charge of his office here at Punjab Health Systems Corporations in Phase 6 and held brief discussion with senior officials of the department.After take the charge of his office, Mr. Sidhu stated that his top priorities will be to serve better to human kind with this new responsibility. Thanking the CM for this responsibility, He said that Health and Education is the priority sector of this Govt. He said that his motto is 'Right Treatment at Right Time'.On this occasion Mr. Sidhu told that Medical College will be high on agenda and classes will start from this year at the building of Punjab Health Systems Corporation. He further said that the defunct hospitals will open soon and vacant posts in the department will fulfilled as well.Prior to this, Additional Chief Secretary Health and Family Welfare Mr. Satish Chandra welcomed the Minister and gave a glimpse of the services, which are providing by the department. Other dignitaries who were present on this occasion are Mr. Amardeep Singh Cheema, Chairman Punjab Health Systems Corporation, Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan, Political Secretary of the Minister and other officials of Health Department.
