Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over the concluding ceremony of International Shimla Summer Festival at historic Ridge here on Thursday evening.Chairman, Summer Festival Shimla-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Shimla Amit Kashyap honoured the Chief Minister by presenting memento, Himachali cap and shawl.Chief Minister witnessed the last cultural night of the Summer Festival and evinced keen interest in performance of the noted Bollywood singers Farhan Sabri and Madhushri Bhattacharya who regaled the gathering with their spellbound performance.Jai Ram Thakur also released the Souvenir of the Summer Festival on this occasion.Wife of Chief Minister Dr. Sadhna Thakur, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Trilok Jamwal, Mayor Kusum Sadrate, Deputy Mayor Rakesh Sharma, Chairman, HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Councillors of Shimla Municipal Corporation, Additional Chief Secretaries Ram Subhag Singh and Nisha Singh were present on the occasion among others.
