CMD Power Grid Corporation Ravi P Singh called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at New Delhi today. They discussed about various ongoing projects of the Corporation in the transmission sector especially in the solar power sector.Jairam Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh has huge potential in power sector and state is focusing on tapping this potential at its best and added that besides hydro power, it was focusing on tapping other energies also especially solar energy. He urged the Corporation to contribute in the sector and be a partner in the development of power sector.Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the presentation made by the Corporation regarding their activities in the state and requested them to participate in the Corporate Social Responsibility activities in the state.Sh Singh assured of participation of Corporation in CSR activities in the state.
