Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Jai Ram Thakur today said that the people will never forgive the sins of the Congress party for engaging in conspiracy against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development plans and national security. The Congress leaders cannot make a place in the hearts of the people by abusing Modi. Everyone knows that for last five years, in the 1825 days, Narendra Modi did not take a day off as a Prime Minister and worked for 18 hours out of 24 hours daily. On the other hand, Congress President Rahul Gandhi goes to the infamous islands of Thailand to rest during natural calamities in the country.The Chief Minister said that even Congress leaders of the state also shy away from comparing Rahul Gandhi to Narendra Modi because in case of any calamity, Prime Minister Modi goes to the spot to meet the affected people and win their hearts. Not only that, he ensures to send immediate relief and carry rescue operations without any discrimination. Modi understands the suffering of the poor and the victims because he himself has suffered the poison of poverty.
He said that the Congress leaders themselves believe that Congress President Rahul Gandhi goes to the people of Italy and other European countries instead of meeting the victims of natural disasters. Many times, not only the people of the country but even his mother Sonia Gandhi are not aware to which country Rahul Gandhi is touring. He must know that the leaders who live in public life should understand that people are watching. The people also know that he moves with the bottles of foreign mineral water, non-vegetarian burgers and pizzas in his fabulous car, who pretends to eat food by visiting the poor and Dalit's houses.Jai Ram Thakur said that as far as Himachal Pradesh is concerned, Narendra Modi has worked here for the BJP party for a long time and therefore he has special attachment with the people of the state. The people of Himachal had given him full support during last Lok Sabha elections as they wanted him to lead the country, while Rahul Gandhi come here only for political rallies and celebrate holidays. Once again, the people of the state will vote for making Narendra Modi as Prime Minister so that the development schemes in the state could continue with the same party government in the center and the state.
