A national seminar- "Khushnuma Zindagi" was organized here on Sunday by the Scientists and Engineers Wing of the Brahma Kumari Sansthan at Seva Kendra of Brahma Kumaris, Panthaghati in which more than 150 scientists and engineers from all over the country and abroad participated.While presiding over the function, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that we could lead a happy life by sacrificing ego and devoting ourselves to God. This could be achieved by adopting positive thinking in life. He said that by longing for physical pleasures, we make our life painful whereas the peace and happiness is related with spirituality, said the Governor.He said that Brahma Kumaris were doing a commendable work for the service of mankind and nation-building.While expressing his thoughts on the subject of "Khushnuma Zindagi", Acharya Devvrat said that a person who has righteousness in life, always remain happy while any work against the will of the mind creates grief. He added that where there was renunciation, there was happiness and where there was separation there was sadness. Jealousy, hatred, un-satisfaction, anger, doubt were the reason for unhappiness. Involvement of good people, serving the suffering humanity and ignorance of the wicked people were the reason for happiness as described in Yog Shastra, he said.Earlier, Vice-Chairman of Scientists and Engineers Wing, Mount Abu Mohan Singhal welcomed the Governor.National Co-ordinator of the Wing Bharat Bhushan also expressed his views on the topic "Khushnuma Zindagi".Shri Prakash presented a vote of thanks.Lady Governor, Darshana Devi, Advisor to the Governor Dr. Shashikant Sharma and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
