Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that today there is only one voice in the country "Modi again" because the people know that Congress or other political parties only protect their interests and they do not have any agenda for the welfare of the people. He was addressing a massive public meeting at Chirgaon in Rohru assembly constituency of Shimla district. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the country efficient and strong leadership, which has enhanced the credibility of India worldwide. Although the Congress party remained in power for many decades at the center but the development that has taken place in the five-year term of the Modi government, is unparallel. He said that during the tenure of former Union Congress government, hundreds of people were killed in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks but the then Congress government could not give a suitable reply to the Pakistani terrorists. Jai Ram Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a strong leadership to the country and the union Government gave the answer to the terrorist organizations and the nefarious activities of Pakistan through surgical and air strikes. The people of the country are feeling honoured by this action of Modi Government. Not only this, the United Nations has recently declared terrorist Masood Azhar as an international terrorist, which is India's biggest diplomatic victory, the credit for which goes to Narendra Modi. He said that the leaders of the opposition want to get power but have nothing to do with the national interest, which is not good for democracy.
The Chief Minister said that the leaders of the previous state government remained been busy in appearing before the courts. During the Congress regime, the headlines of newspapers used to be corruption, but the BJP government is sincerely developing the state and now there is no news of court appearances by the leaders of BJP.
He said that BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap from Shimla parliamentary constituency has earlier worked in the army. At the same time, Congress candidate Dhaniram Shandil was also a soldier, but he is the leader of the party who seeks evidence of the army's action, which is unfortunate.The Chief Minister urged the voters to give full support to the BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap for ensuring development of the state along-with Rohru area.
