Principal Resident Commissioner Sanjay Kundu held a meeting with Ambassador of Kuwait Jasem I. Al-Najem at New Delhi last evening to discuss various issues related to Global Investors Meet to be held at Dharamshala on 26th and 27th September, 2019.He apprised the Ambassador about the event and invited him to attend the Global Investors Meet along with a business delegation. He sought cooperation of the Embassy to encourage investment from leading private and public companies of Kuwait.Principal Resident Commissioner informed him that State Government is focusing on infrastructure, horticulture and food processing, tourism, healthcare and wellness centres, urban development and housing, IT & electronics and pharmaceuticals sectors for Himachal Pradesh-Kuwait investment partnership.The Ambassador said that Kuwait was looking forward to the partnership and was keen to invest in infrastructure and tourism development in Himachal Pradesh. He proposed to meet the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and senior state government officers soon.
