Kashmir’s picturesque meadow of gold, Sonamarg yesterday hosted and roared with applause for the much awaited, SKYVIEW FROZEN RUSH 3- The biggest snow off-road challenge in the country.The highly anticipated snow off-road event was organized by Kashmir Off Road in association with Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean and powered by Acute Fruit Energizer. The one-day event, voiced by FM Tadka was flagged off by Mr. Showkat Ahmad Rather, CEO SDA and Mr. Faheem Ali, DSP Traffic, Ganderbal.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ali Sajid (founder of Kashmir Off Road) said- “Whoaa! Having a snow event almost towards the end of April was very challenging. This time we literally chased after snow. Sonamarg is an amazingly beautiful place. I am highly grateful to the Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) and all of the Ganderbal Administration for their relentless cooperation and making this event possible.
New location, new race track, it all added to the excitement. Thankfully, it was a successful event.”Participants competed on an extremely tricky snow surface showcasing their driving skills.Last year’s defending champion, Faraz Bazaz, emerged winner yet again while Muzamil Mir adjudged first runner-up and Mir Sajad Hussain, second runner up. The event also witnessed participation of lone lady snow racer, Dr. Sharmeen Mushtaq Nizami at her competitive level best.Skyview Frozen Rush 3 was groomed by Ustraa, supported by 95.0 FM Tadka, media partner Rising Kashmir, SKICC, HN Wanchoo Trust, Creative Kashmir, Café Liberty, JK Headlines and CP Advertisers.“We are glad to have partnered with yet another, high on energy, event.
