Capt Amarinder assures security, dignity to Christian

Former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today assured the Christian community that they will be provided security, safety and dignity. He said, India was a secular country and everybody had equal right to live here.Speaking at a function organised by Sonu Jafar, Capt Amarinder said, Congress was the only party which took along everybody irrespective of the caste, creed religion they belonged to. He said, the Congress believed in secularism while the BJP believed in piding people.Speaking on the occasion, local MLA Dr Raj Kumar Verka assured the community members that the Congress will take up their long pending demands.Among others present on the occasion included Pastor Griffin,Paramjit Masih, Rinku Gumtala, Victor Masih, William Masih, and others,
