PSIEC to make available medallions to people in commemoration of 550th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

On the auspicious occasion of 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Punjab small industries & Export Corporation Ltd. (PSIEC) has been assigned the task of making available the commemorative medallions in connection with the same.Divulging this, Mrs. Vini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab said that the PSIEC had made arrangements with the MMTC for the purpose of designing and fabrication of these commemorative medallions, which would be made available in both India and overseas to the devotees and general public. A soft launch of these medallions was held on this occasion of Vaisakhi, today at Phulkari, PSIEC Emporium, Sector 17, Chandigarh by Bhai Sukhdip Singh Sidhu, GM (Export), PSIEC.On the occasion, Mr. Rahul Bhandari,  Managing Director, PSIEC, disclosed that these commemorative medallions have also been certified from the MMTC for 999 purity in both Gold & Silver with attractive blister packing, In 24 K gold, these are available in 5 & 10 gms (999purity) & in 50 gms pure silver (999 purity).
He further informed that the sale price of 5gm gold (999 purity) is Rs 18,500/-, Rs 37,000/- for 10 gm gold (999 purity) and 50 gms silver (999 purity) would be sold at Rs. 2,900/-.Bhai Sukhdip Singh Sidhu, General Manager(Exports) stated that these commemorative medallions would be sold through Phulkari Emporiums of PSIEC situated at Chandigarh, Amritsar, Patiala, Delhi & Kolkata. Besides, the MMTC would also be selling these at their retail outlets located throughout India. The PSIEC is also undertaking the process of making available these commemorative medallions to the devotees and general public through leading banks and e-commerce platform.The PSIEC had also released Commemorative medallions in the past on the occasion of 300th year of Khalsa foundation celebrations which attracted huge response worldwide. On the occasion,  Mr. S.P. Singh, Chief General Manager, Mr. Gurdeep Singh, General Manager (Emporia), Mr. Harmesh Chand Jindal, General Manager (F&A), Mr. P.K. Katyal, DGM (Exports), Mr.. SPS Dhillon, Manager (Export), Ms. Jigyasa Narang, Manager (Emporia), Mr. Sachin Goyal, Manager (F&A), Mr. Ankur Chaudhary, Manager (Estate), Mr. Deepak Kumar (Manager) & Mr. Dinesh Arora were also present.
