In time of Lok Sabha Polls, some doubtful elements in bureaucracy are trying to mislead Governor on several political & administrative matters to favour traditional ruling parties & BJP in particular.
1. Under deep-rooted conspiracy against JKNPP leadership, some officials in Police & Civil bureaucracy have floated a story that Panthers Party is not recognized party as a result of which half of security of NPP Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh has been withdrawn by prompting wrong perception that “Z” category protectees are given a single escort.
2. It is tragic that security cover under “Y” category to senior leadership of Panthers Party has been withdrawn besides Chairman of NPP, Harsh Dev Singh has also been given a token security of 2 PSOs & President of NPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia given nominal security. Same is the case with Ex-MLAs Yash Paul Kundal & Faqir Nath have also been deprived of reasonable security so that they cannot walk into people for election campaign.
3. This matter was brought to the notice of Hon’ble Governor demanding immediate removal of “Top Security Boss” in the Police who has given full security to the activists of 2 other regional parties NC & PDP. Whereas Panthers Party is the only state recognized party out of 3 political parties which has been denied security and its State Office Bearers & District Presidents.
4. Most shocking news was the senior bureaucracy has spread rumours against NPP Supremo that he owns several properties in and outside the country. Fact is Bhim Singh has share in his ancestral land and depilated house in Bhugterian village, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur in J&K and nowhere else in the world. This kind of vilification campaign against NPP Supremo is most unfortunate and below the upright dignity of Prof. Bhim Singh, Founder, Ex-MLA (twice), former MLC, Sr. Advocate Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee. Panthers Party has decided to fight the electoral battle with the cooperation and love of the people to combat corruption, communalism & divisive forces to ensure Indian flag, Fundamental Rights & Indian Constitution in J&K.JKNPP announced its names of candidates fighting Parliamentary elections from Jammu – Poonch & Udahmpur – Doda constituencies here today in the press conference. Prof. Bhim Singh candidate for Lok Sabha Polls from Jammu – Poonch, Shri Harsh Dev Singh candidate for Lok Sabha Polls from Udhampur – Doda constituency, Mr. Abdul Rashid Ganie candidate from Srinagar – Budgam constituency, Mr. Jahangir Khan from Baramulla – Kupwara.
Addressing media persons Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Harsh Dev Singh, former Minister & Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party, Shri Balwant Singh Mankotia, former Legislator & State President – JKNPP reiterated that mission of the party is to protect and preserve endangered identity and secular culture of Jammu & Kashmir State more so, Jammu Pradesh which has been vitiated by the traditional ruling parties National Conference, Congress, BJP & PDP that are sailing in the same boat of loot, plunder and chaos. Panthers stressed that the said political parties main manifesto is to grab power & fill their pockets at the cost of neglected poor masses. Panthers Party recalled its fight against injustice and mis-governance from time to time during the last five years led by Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia throughout the state and several protests at Jantar Mantar & Pakistan Embassy, New Delhi. P.K Ganju, Masood Andrabi, Adv. Bansi Lal Sharma, Anita Thakur & Jagdev Singh were also present in the press conference.
