A Boy from South Kashmir's Shopian district was Awarded by President of India Ram Nath Kovind for Bravary and Fighting with Militants last year.16 year old Shopian Boy was Awarded with "Shaurya Chakra" for his Bravary for his Fight against militants when militants attack his house in Imamsaheb village.Irfan Ramzan shiekh hails from Imamsaheb village of Shopian is Studying in class 10th was Awarded by President of India.On 16 October 2017 night Three Armed militants enter irfan's Residence at imamsaheb village, His father Mohd Ramzan was an X sarpanch, Irfan sensing the Intention of Militants for sometime he engage them outside home,but Suddenly his father come out and Pounced with militants Scuffle results,the citation for the award read.During the Scuffle Militants fired indiscriminately on Mohd Ramzan resulting injuries later scummbed,and a militant Showkat Hussein Falahi also recieve severe injuries as well, militants managed to flee from spot with injured associate but they left the body and one militant also dies during this scuffle, the citation read.Irfan show such a bravery in a small age and is class 10th student and wants to become IPS officer."Shaurya Chakra" is usually awarded to armed forces and para-military personnel for “gallantry otherwise in the face of the enemy”
