Today O.P Soni Education Minister punjab distributed prizes to the achievers in different fields and announced a grant worth rs. 25 lakh for the development of college . Today while addressing the gathering ,Mr. Soni announced that Hindu College has been categorized A by NAAC team and in addition to this ,the college has established its name in the field of academics as well as sports in recent years. The pass outs of this college have earned fame throughout the globe.our former P.M Mr. Manmohan Singh ,field Marshall Mr. Manik Chand, comedian Kapil Sharma, the great cricketer Mr. Madan Lal and Mr. Bishan Singh Bedi are the products of this prestigious college. E.M Soni said that he himself had studied in this college. Hard work is the key to success ,quoted Mr. Soni and urged students to follow the same . He said Quality Education is the need of hour and government's prime focus is to impart quality Education in govt. Schools . At this moment ,college Principal Mr. P.k Sharma ,presented the annual report mentioning the achievements of students in university exams . He mentioned that Mr. Gagandeep Singh has performed in international events and two girl students ,Renuka thakur and nitika choudhary have played in women cricket. On this occasion ,college Principal honored Mr. Soni.Additional to this , Mr. Piyare Lal Seth announced a help of 01 lakh rupees for underprivileged students College Chairman Mr. Hem Raj Gupta, deputy director higher education, Mr. Harwinder Singh Bhalla , pardhan Congress urban ,ms.
