The Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) on Wednesday announced that the Former Army Chief and former Governor General Joginder Jaswant singh will contest as Lok Sabha candidate of the party from Khadoor Sahib constituency.While addressing a huge gathering of party workers and ex-servicemen in a rally organized for introduction of party candidature of General J.J. Singh from Khadoor Sahib Loksabha constituency at village Brahmpura in Tarn Taran, SAD (Taksali) president Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahampura appealed all party workers and public of area to vote and support General J.J. Singh so he can raise the voice of people of Khadoor Sabha Loksabha constituency in Indian parliament. On this occasion while expressing his gratitude towards party president Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahampura as well as party workers, General J.J. Singh said that he is considering himself as the luckiest person as he has got once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent Khadoor Sabha Loksabha constituency and taking benefit of this opportunity he will leave no stone unturned in serving the public of Khadoor Sahib Loksabha constituency and will took up every type of their problems for solutions upto parliament.
On this occasion while praising the Indian Air Force, former army chief General J.J. Singh said that in which way Indian Air Force has taken revenge of martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack, now no enemy country will dare to even see the Indian soldiers with bad eyes. On this occasion, while addressing the huge gathering of workers party president Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura said that Punjab Democratic Alliance has claimed 9 seats out of total 13 Loksabha seats of Punjab, while Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksaali) has claimed only 3 seats including Sri Anandpur Sahib Loksabha Seat which is their right because this is a purely constituency and being a panthic leader our candidate Bir Devinder Singh is the most suitable candidate for this constituency. On the other hand being a panthic leader Bir Devinder Singh can heartily relates with voters of this area as he is emotionally attached with this area. Brahmpura claimed that Bir Devinder Singh will emerge as the most strong and valuable candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib Loksabha Seat because he deeply knows the real problems of this hilly area like Kandi Canal, Potable Water, Roads, Basic infrastructure, and ruining industry of Nangal and he understands that how to develop this area with planned schemes.Brahmpura further said that area of Sri Anandpur Sahib is very backward and it needs development from root level with most modern and youthful techniques for which best candidate than Bir Devinder Singh is impossible to be found.
