O.P. Soni Gives Approval To Transfer Of Differently Abled Teachers Near To Their Residence

Education Minister, Punjab Om Prakash Soni today gave approval to transfer the differently abled teachers, appointed under the recruitment of 3582, near to their residences. In  order to strengthen the education system in the border area, the state government had bound these teachers to perform duty for the first three years of their job in border  areas.Today, 3582 teachers’ union and various societies of education department, who are working on clerical jobs met Education Minister Mr. Om Parkash Soni.These union  leaders appreciated the work being done by the government to strengthen the school education and also brought to the notice of the Education Minister that some differently  abled and widows of 3582 recruitment are suffering from serious diseases so that they are facing many problems to perform their duties with full determination.After hearing all  demands of Unions, Education Minister instructed the Secretary, School Education, Mr. Krishan Kumar, who was present in the meeting, to transfer widows and severely suffering  from serious diseases teachers under the 3582 recruitment after 15th March, near to their homes.Organizations’ leaders of the employees performing clerical jobs in different  societies present in the meeting also requested the Education Minister Mr. Om Prakash Soni as the teachers working under SSA / RMSA have been appointed as regular  employee of Punjab Government, their services should also regularise with the same pattern.  Considering the demand, Education Minister instructed the Secretary Education to  prepare agenda to get its approval from cabinet. Mr. Soni said that the state government led by Capt. Amrinder Singh is committed to strengthen the education system and also  for the welfare of the teachers. He said that after assuming power in the state, to boost the educational system, Punjab Government has taken the several decisions to provide  benefit to the teachers.
