2018 has been a wonderful year for the Punjabi Cinema where the level of craft and content was raised by various films. Now in 2019 also, Pollywood is all decked up to witness some really good content oriented films. And to grace this list of films in 2019, our turbanator ‘Tarsem Jassar’ and Pollywood queen ‘Neeru Bajwa’ have already set a benchmark today with their recent release ‘Uda Aida’.Recently a premier of the movie was organized by the producers of the movie in Canada and Chandigarh. The premier of the movie in Canada was graced by Neeru Bajwa, Amrinder Gill, Harish Verma and Gurpreet Ghuggi. On the other hand the premier in Chandigarh was attended by the lead star of the movie Tarsem Jassar and some renowned artists of our cinema industry Ammy Virk, Jagdeep Sidhu, Binnu Dhillon, B.N.Sharma, Simi Chahal, Karamjit Anmol, Ksshitij Chaudhary, Rupali Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Munish Sahni, Poppy Jabbal, Ranjit Bawa, Naresh Kathooria, Ravinder Grewal, Harry Bhatti and Jass Grewal.At this moment Ranjit Bawa said, “The movie showcases the super awesome chemistry between these two artists”.
Ammy Virk said, “After a long time the Punjabi cinema industry and the audience have witnessed a film which is entertaining as well as an eye opener for society”.The film raises the question that how parents of this modern society are in the rat race to educate their kids in the expensive school, which also leads to the failure for kids to understand their roots. The story revolves around a couple who sent their child to expensive school but at as the story unfolds with changing circumstances kid starts to feel that his parents are backward as compare to the parents of other kids. This film also highlights the importance of every language in everyone’s life.The film has been helmed by Ksshitij Chaudhary and the story of the movie has been written byNaresh Kathooria. The film has been bankrolled by Rupali Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Naresh Kathooria and Ksshitij Chaudhary. The music of the film has been released under the music label of Vehli Janta Records and Omjee Group is the distributor of this project.The film has already been released on 1st February 2019.
