Today Deputy commissioner patiala released swine flu poster for the awareness about swine flu to the community. He said that because of fall in temprature upsurging of swine flu cases in distt. For the prevention of awareness has been created by health department through seminar, rally, poster and pamphlets distribution, radio talk etc. He said that testing and tab. tamiflu for the H1N1 is available free of cost for the swine flu patients. He said all kind of preaprdeness including isolation ward for the swine flu patients has been done. He said meeting regarding swine flu preparedness with private practioner, IMA members and all govt. nodal officers by civil surgeon patiala. Dr Manjit Singh Civil Surgeon told about the sign and symptoms of swine flu and its preventive measure. He said swine flu is categorized in a,b, and c. He said that people should follow respiratory etiquettes (use handkerchief while coughing/sneezing), avoid going to over crowded place, and In case when they are having sign and symptoms of swine flu category A and B then they should isolate themselves at home in consultation with doctor, take plenty of liquid diets like lassi, juices, soups, water etc and take complete rest for 3-5 days.
