The year 2018 saw a meteoric rise in the Punjabi rap game. Dubai based Punjabi rapper Bhalu brought his unique flavour and music to the front and contributed immensely to the scene. Having dropped a handful of singles and collaborations throughout the year Bhalu had a number of bops to his name. His biggest single ‘Nasheelay Nain’ was a worldwide success with over 3.4mn views (Beyond Records) shot him to the limelight and paved the path for many more hits.Recently, the international rapper had his biggest song of the year(2018) released via ‘T-Series Apna Punjab’ titled ‘Gal Man Lay’ which has garnered more than 500k views on YouTube.Speaking about the track Bhalu said “Gal Man Lay marks the beginning of a new phase in my artistic direction, and i want to thank my boys Tauqeer Bhinder and Ali Mustafa for their contribution in this new journey.”Bhalu says he has a lot of releases in the works for 2019 and cannot wait for the world to see what he has up his sleeve.
