Members from Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Alliance (JKPA) held a protest demonstration against Ramsoo rape here at press colony.Scores of youth including females from JKPA assembled at press colony raised slogans against RSS and BJP alleging that backing by such parties has encouraged people to prey of minors.“Parties like BJP RSS and likes of them have been given a free hand to goons which is encouraging them resulting in repetition of such events,” Youth Leader, Fazil Ahmed told Valley Media Service.“Be it cases of Asiya neelofar or Kathua rape, the slogans of government in favor of saving girls is falling flat”, he said.The protesting party members said that “Three months back some people who are encouraged by right wing parties raped minor girl and when she got pregnant, she was forcefully made to take abortion medicines which landed her in hospital, only after that her parents got to about the rape”The party members while raising slogans against BJP RSS said that these parties talk about democracy but in reality democracy does not exist in such cases.(VMS)
