Human Rights Protection Welfare Society (HRPWS) in association with Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today celebrated Human Rights Day. Prof. N.K Goyal, President, CMAI Association of India & Chairman, India & Director, NFL, Govt of India was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Manpreet S. Manna, Former Director, AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi; S. Manjit Singh Brar, SP, Patiala; Prof. A.P Jain, Dean, Aryans Group of Colleges; Mr. MS Brar, Chairman, Air Vice Marshal (Retd AVSM,VM), HRPWS; Sh Yashwant Sharma (AETC Retd.) President, HRPWS were the Guests of Honour on the occasion.Yashwant Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest Sh. NK Goyal and other delegates from different walks of life including Businessmen, industrialists, Professionals, academicians, Administration etc.Prof NK Goyal made the audience aware about various Human Rights as defined by United Nation Organization. He appealed to maintain the harmony by various groups in the society.
He also appreciated the good work being done by HRPWS in Patiala and other districts of Punjab.Dr. Manpreet S Manna spoke about various new Skill Development Projects and initiatives taken by the Govt for the Youth and appreciated the welfare activities undertaken by the HRPWS under his patronage.Prof A.P Jain, Dean, Aryans Group of Colleges discussed about various activities and duties being performed by Aryans Group under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plan for the welfare of the students and society.Additional Session Judge, Sh Ranjan Khullar appreciated Sports persons who have represented at National and International Level, Sh. Tota Singh, Principal, Govt. Multipurpose School & outstanding personalities who have done their social and professional work in the interest of the society were also honoured on the occasion.Sh Ranjit Singh Distt President; Sh.
