BoD of Forest Development Corporation approves filling up various posts

Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur presided over the meeting of the Board of Directors of the State Forest Development Corporation here today in which decision was taken to fill up 50 posts of Forest Guards, three posts of Boiler Operator, two posts of saw mill operator and one post of electrician through direct recruitment in the corporation.The decision was also taken to provide D.A. allowance to the employees of the corporation from 1st January, 2018 at par with the state government employees besides enhancing the washing and special allowance of the drivers.The BoD decided to enhance the over head charges to 25 and 40 percent on cutting of dense trees for power projects on national highways.Govind Singh Thakur said that effective steps have being taken up to make the  Corporation economically viable which have started to show positive results.Vice Chairman of the Corporation Surat Singh Negi, ACS Forests Ram Subhag Singh, Chief Conservator of Forests BD Suyal and other senior officers of the corporation were present in the meeting.
