Potential Linked Credit Plan for 2019-20 released for District Patiala

Assistant Commissioner (G), Patiala Shri Naman Markan released the Potential Linked Credit Plan for Patiala district for the year 2019-20 prepared by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at the District level meeting held at District Administrative Complex, here.Shri J.P.S. Ahuja, District Development Manager, NABARD informed that the PLP for 2019-20 has been prepared based on statistics and suggestions given by the respective government departments and member banks in the district based on the Revised Priority Sector guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India.The targets for various priority sectors for 2019-2020 are Total agriculture – Rs. 12045.39 crore, Micro and small enterprises – Rs. 2372.25  crore, Export Credit – Rs. 470.62 crore,  Education – Rs. 769.50 Crore,  Housing- Rs. 1286.25 Crore, Renewable Energy – Rs. 39.33 crore, Social Infrastructure( School, Higher education institutions, Hospitals, Sanitation )etc- Rs. 785.25 crore and Other priority sector – Rs. 341.54crore.The PLP projections for the year 2019-20 is estimated at Rs.18110.14 crore which is 5.22 % more than PLP projections for the year 2018-19.Shri Surinder Malick, LDM,Patiala received the first copy of the PLP from Deputy Commissioner,  Bankers and State Government officials were also present in the meeting.
