JKLF stages protest against assassination of political leaders and activists

Brutal assassination of political leaders and activists like Mir Hafiz-u-Allah and unrelenting spree of killings of young Kashmiris across the valley amounts to annihilation of an entire generation. Willful Indian killing machine has gone out of control in Kashmir but no one in the international community seems to bother or take a serious note of it,” this was stated by the incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while condemning the ongoing massacre of Kashmiris by Indian forces and police.On JRL program, JKLF leaders and activists staged a peaceful protest against the killing of Mir Hafizullah, massacre of more young Kashmiris like that in Bijbihara today and unrelenting colonial oppression unleashed by Indian occupation throughout the Kashmir valley.On JRL program, JKLF leaders and activists including Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Shiekh Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Sideeq Shah, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Asharf Bin Salam, Professor Javed, Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Muhammad Hanif along with other people staged a peaceful protest against the killing of Mir Hafizullah, slaughter of more young Kashmiris like that in Bijbihara today and unrelenting colonial oppression unleashed by Indian occupation throughout the Kashmir valley. 

Holding placards in hands and raising passionate slogans against ongoing killing spree in Kashmir, participants of the protest staged a peaceful sit-in which was addressed by various JKLF leaders including vice president Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi who condemned the brutal atrocities including ongoing massacres, crackdowns, spree of arrests and shifting of Kashmiri inmates to far-off Indian jails.While condemning the continued incarceration of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, speakers said that JKLF chairman is being arrested and incarcerated every now and then which has resulted in deteriorating his heath considerably which is highly worrying.JKLF incarcerated Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who is languishing in police custody from 19th November 2018 has in a statement issued to media today said that brutal assassination of resistance leader Mir Hafizullah has created a big void in the ranks of resistance camp and we all are in a state of mourning on his untimely departure. He said that brutal assassination of political leaders and activists like Mir Hafiz-u-Allah and unrelenting spree of Killings of young Kashmiris across the valley actually amounts to annihilation of an entire generation and Indian colonial mindset with all its might is continuing this genocide in the name of operation all out.

Incarcerated JKLF chairman said that Indian forces have unleashed a rampage against Kashmiris as crackdowns, killings, beating torturing and humiliating common people, incarcerating political activists, leaders and students and other oppressive measures have been expedited in recent months and all this is being done to suppress democratic voices of Kashmiris which is highly condemnable. Terming the recent shifting of Kashmiri inmates as most autocratic and atrocious act, JKLF chairman said that terrorizing, tormenting and torturing inmates and their families is illegal, obnoxious and most reprehensible act.Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has paid rich tributes to Kashmiris including Marty Azad Ahmad Malik , martyr Basit Mir, martyr Firdous Ahmad, Martyr Shahid Malik, martyr Younis Shafi and martyr Aatif Ahmad massacred today at Bijbihara Islamabad. While paying homage to these martyred Kashmiris, JKLF said that the blood of Kashmiris has been turned cheap and is being spilled ruthlessly by Indian forces. JKLF delegation comprising of vice chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie along with Mushtaq Ahmad Kuchay and Nazir Ahmad Khan participated in the funeral prayers of martyr Basit Ahmad Mir at Pushwara Islamabad while as another delegation visited Maspona Pulwama and participated in the funeral prayers of martyr Firdous Ahmad. JKLF leaders met with the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with them. JKLF leaders also prayed for the early recovery of those injured by Indian forces in south Kashmir.
