Rajpura , 19 Nov 2018

In order to solve the  genuine issues of students of Aryans Group of Colleges ,Rajpura, Patiala punjab, scores of students assembled in front of main gate of college, they were trying to meet with Chairman of the college for resolving their issues but the authorities refused to allow the students to meet with him. The students started protest demonstration against the college administration and nobody from the college administration responded to them positively. To transmit the voice up to administration, hundreds of students including both girls and boys   led by Muzamil Ahamed  under the supervision of Prakash Singh Dadwal,  State Vice President NSUI Jammu and Kashmir, reached Rajpura national highway about 1.5 km from College premises. To disperse the students, police scolded the students as kashmiri Goons and Lathi Charge on them, many students got injured.Dadwal while condemning the act of force on students and discrimination with kashmiriyat, said that the students of this college are facing so many problems which needs to   be resolved, firstly, the college authorities compelled to pay extra amount as a semester fee or force the student to provide extra two admissions of new students in the college, which is a big harassment and frustration to the student. Secondly, the college compels the students to pay their own scholarship to the college authorities which is totally illegal and undesirable. Thirdly, Examination  fee as per university charges are Rs 700 to 800 and but college takes extra fee as of Rs 3000. Fourthly, the college authorities takes Rs 500 for each function (Rajni & Roshan) from every students for conducting the function for celebrating of their birthday’s which is exploitation with the students and if any one of student do not attend the function the college takes extra charges as Rs 500 for each function. Fifthly, the college authorities takes Rs 500 for making the smart card whether its actual cost is about Rs 50 to 100.Dadwal demanded the government  and AICTE to act strictly against the college and make sure to solve the students problem and further harassment. Otherwise in support of these students NSUI will start agitation in J and K also.
