On the occasion of the 89th Birth Day of Sardar Beant Singh Jee, Late Chief Minister, Punjab large number of people from all walks of life paid their flowering tributes to the late leader and recalled his supreme sacrifice, at the altar of peace and for restoring stability in trouble torn Punjab.
In an impressive and solemn function a Sarv Dharam Prarthna Sabha, all religious prayer was organized at the Samadhi of Late leader. A galaxy of senior leaders & senior functionaries of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee including leaders of frontal organizations of the Punjab Congress, District Presidents of Congress, Youth Congress besides family members of the Late Chief Minister led by his son S. Tej Parkash Singh, were present on the occasion.

Ravneet Singh Bittu, pledged to work for the implementation of the programmes initiated by Late Chief Minister and also strive to keep aloft his vision for Punjab.Later S. Tej Parkash Singh, S. Gurkirat Singh & S. Ravneet Singh Bittu MP, thanked the political leaders and the people for coming in large numbers to pay their tributes to the late leader.
