Around 2393 complaints and demands received during sixth Jan Manch

Around 2393 complaints and demands were received during the sixth Jan Manch organised in the State on Sunday in nine districts.In Hamirpur district, the Jan Manch was held at Rael in Nadaun constituency which was presided over by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor. The Minister listened to the public grievances which were mostly related to water connections, drinking water, revenue and electricity supply and directed the officers concerned to redress these issues on priority.Around 285 demands and complaints were received in the Jan Manch. The Minister distributed free LPG connections to 40 women beneficiaries. The doctors examined 195 persons in the medical camps and free medicines were also distributed to them. Vice Chairman, HRTC Vijay Agnihotri was also present in the Jan Manch.The Jan Manch at Gadsa in Banjar constituency of Kullu district was presided over by MPP and Power Minister Anil Sharma where around 151 demands and complaints were presented by the residents of surrounding panchayats out of which 105 were settled on the spot.Anil Sharma handed over FDs to 36 girls under Balika Suraksha Yojana and nine girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. Medical camps were also organised for providing free medical check-up facility and various kinds of certificates were issued by the district administration to the beneficiaries.Local MLA Arun Shourie also attended the function.Agriculture and Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda chaired the function at Kunihar in Arki constituency of Solan district where 284 demands and complaints were presented during the Jan Manch.

The Minister distributed various certificates to the beneficiaries and many cases were registered for Aadhar cards. The Allopathic and Ayurvedic doctors examined 512 people and 40 persons were registered for providing disability certificates.MP Virender Kashyap and former MLAs Govind Sharma and K.L Thakur were also present.In Chamba district, Jan Manch was held at Salooni in Dalhousie Assembly segment which was chaired by Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar. He distributed 170 LPG connections to women beneficiaries, 147 FDs to baby girls and various types of certificates to the beneficiaries. He urged the people to make maximum benefit of the Jan Manch programme to redress their problems and demands.362 cases were received during the programme including and many of them were settled on the spot.In Kangra district, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar presided over the function at Jalag in Jaisinghpur constituency of Kangra district. Total 215 demands and complaints were received from 12 panchayats out of which 80 were settled on the spot.The Minister distributed 185 free LPG connections to the beneficiaries. Around 60 health cards were issued under Ayushman Bharat Yojana besides 50 Aadhar cards. In the medical camp, more than 100 people turned out for their medical check-up.MLA Ravinder Dhiman was also present in the function.132 complaints and demands were received during Jan Manch at Kamrau in Shillai constituency of Sirmaur district. Industries Minister Bikram Singh distributed FD's under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana to ten girls and various types of certificates to the beneficiaries.

The Minister directed the departments concerned to redress the problems of drinking water shortage and poor electricity supply in the area as per the demands raised by the people.The cases of ten patients were discussed with the specialists of Apollo hospital, New Delhi by the local doctors through tele-medicine facility on this occasion.MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhary and Vice Chairman, Civil Supplies Corporation Baldev Tomar were also present in the programme.In Mandi district Forest Minister Govind Singh presided over the function at Nihri in Sundernagar Assembly segment. Speaking on the occasion he said that a rest house would be constructed at Nihri and proper arrangments would be made to facilitate the pilgrims near Kamrunag temple. He also assured to start additional bus service to Nihri to facilitate the college students.As many as 218 complaints and demands were received during the programme and most of them were redressed on the spot.He distributed 46 LPG connections and FDs to girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana.Local MLA Rakesh Jamwal was also present on the occasion.

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal presided over the function at Karloti in Ghumarwin Assembly segment of Bilaspur district. He said that around 1.75 lakh people of Bilaspur district have been benefitted with Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. He also launched the district level Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao scheme on this occasion.As many as 306 cases were presented during the programme.Various kinds of certificates were distributed and more than 650 people were examined by the Allopathic and Ayurveda doctors in the medical camps. The Minister distributed FDs of Rs. 10,000 each to 17 girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana.MLA Rajender Garg was also present on this occasion.In Shimla district the programme was organised at Nerwa where Chief Whip and Coordinator of Jan Manch Narender Bragta chaired the function. In all, 440 demands and complaints were received out of which 134 were disposed off on the spot. Around 520 persons took benefit of medical examination in the health camps organised on this occasion.Narender Bragta distributed FDs and other certificates to the beneficiaries. He directed the officers of all departments to ensure speedy redressal of the public grievances received during the Jan Manch and complete all the developmental works in a stipulated time period.He also inspected the 66 KV electricity sub-station in Chopal sub-division.MLA Balbir Verma was also present on this occasion.
