A meeting was held here today under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Shrikant Baldi make necessary arrangements for the proposed visit of the President of India Ram Nath Kovind to Kangra and Shimla on 29th and 30th October, 2018. He said that Ram Nath Kovind would confer degrees to the students of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC) Tanda at Kangra in first convocation function on 29th October and the students of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla on 30th October, 2018 in 24th convocation function.Dr. Baldi directed the officers of district administration, Municipal Corporation and all concerned departments to make all necessary arrangements. Secretary GAD R. N. Batta conducted the proceeding of the meeting.DGP S.R. Mardi, Principal Secretary R.D. Dhiman, Senior officers of Army and State Government were present in the meeting.
