The Food Safety Team Tarn Taran along with the help of local police, intercepted a Tempo bearing number plate as Pb10 DZ 6711, coming from Moga to Tarantaran , at Harike.The team recovered 40 Bags of Gluco Powder 25kg each, 1 plastic bucket having about 10 litres transparent liquid, 1 Plastic Drum and 1 aluminium can containing milk. The material was apparently being ferried for preparation of spurious milk. Driver of the tempo, Rajinder Kumar from Village Ratia in District Moga admitted the same. Samples were taken by the team in the presence of Police, for further analysis.Earlier in the day, the Food Safety Team Kapurthala, destroyed about 1.4 Quintal paneer, seized on September 7 after receiving the analysis report of it been prepared from Foreign Fat. The content was destroyed in presence of Executive Magistrate.
