Vigilance Bureau Punjab today nabbed Superintendent of improvement trust red handed accepting bribe of Rs. 9,000.Disclosing this here an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Mohinder Pal, Sr. Assistant-cum-Superintendent posted at improvement trust, Jalandhar was caught on the complaint of Chetan Sareen of Preet Nagar, Jalandhar. The complainant has approached the VB and alleged that the above said accused was demanding Rs. 9,000 to handover the transfer letters of plots to him. After verifying his information, the Vigilance team laid a trap and the accused superintendent arrested on the spot while accepting bribe of Rs.9,000 from the complainant in the presence of two official witnesses.He informed that cases under Prevention of Corruption Act have been registered against the accused at VB police station Jalandhar and further investigations were under progress.
