A cycle rally to create awareness against drugs was organised by Gill constituency MLA Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid in his area. The rally was attended by  Member of Parliament Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, Cabinet Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Mayor Mr Balkar Singh Sandhu, Councillor Mr Harkarandeep  Singh Vaid, besides a large number of youth from Gill constituency.MLA Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid informed that the cycle rally organised last evening started from Dhandra Road and passed from Keys Hotel Road, Lodhi  Club Road and ended at Verka Milk Plant on Ferozepur Road, here.While addressing the gathering on the occasion, the leaders said that the Congress-led Punjab government is taking concrete steps to eradicate the  evil of drugs from the state. They said that the Punjab government is providing free treatment for those who want to shun the evil of drugs on their own.  They also urged the public to inform them about any person who is in the trade of selling drugs and assured that strict action would be taken against  them.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mandeep Singh Chuharpur, Billu Dad, Sunny Kainth, Rajiv Raja, Manjit Singh Hambran,  Laadi Jassar, besides several others.
