Management, students and faculty from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran came together to celebrate the country’s 72nd Independence Day. Celebrations commenced with hoisting of the national flag by Dr PN Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran. This was followed by the national anthem and an impressive march-past by cadets of CGC’s NCC wing.Commemorating the momentous occasion, students from the institution presented a host of cultural performances comprising renditions of patriotic songs, poem recitations, speeches, dances and plays.Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran extended their best wishes to the faculty and students on the auspicious occasion. They urged the students to work hard and strive towards becoming responsible citizens thereby contributing in nation building; making India strong and more self reliant.
