Under the Mission Tandarust Punjab the Punjab police has started a campaign against drug addiction and is also creating awareness on traffic rules. Giving a shot in the arm to this campaign of Bathinda police, the Guru Gobind Singh Refinery today contributed Rs 3.60 lacs of financial assistance for putting up flexes, banners and hoardings to create awareness on social causes across the Bathinda range.AGM Refinery Mr Charanjit Singh, Chief Welfare officer Refinery Mr Sandeep Singh and PR Waheguru Pal Singh today handed over the cheque to SSP Bathinda Dr Nanak Singh that will be used to put up 300 flexes, 300 flex frame board and 60000 posters.SSP Bathinda appreciated the efforts of GGS Refinery administration for extending their assistance in various social causes. He said that the drug addiction has become a malady for society that needs to be treated immediately. He called upon other corporate too to extend a helping hand.
