Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana convened a meeting to review the functioning of Revenue Department, here today.Threadbare discussion was held on the latest status regarding retrieval of encroached State and Kahcharai land.The DC directed the functionaries to speed up anti encroachment drives and fixed a target of 10 Kanals per week per Niabat. He further directed for immediate demolition of illegally built commercial structures on state land besides identification and seizing of such constructions which are done by means of encroachment.He also reviewed the status of Jamabandis and girdawari of each Patwar Halqa.DC asked the concerned officials to maintain a hand book of their Patwar Halqas wherein gist of all records concerned to their Patwar circle be readily available as the same will serve as ready reckoner during any point of time.Directions were also passed to the concerned for identification of land for the establishment of solid waste management unit within five days and were also directed to keep land bank prepared for the future developmental projects.Meanwhile, ADC asked the concerned not to leave the station without prior permission and ensure registration of employees under ABEAS and installation of bio-metric systems in the offices.ACR asked for page marking of revenue record for digitalisation purposes.Among others the meeting was attended by SDM Chatroo, SDM Marwah besides Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaries of the district.
