District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary today convened a meeting of all Drawing and Disbursing officers (DDOs) to review the progress of Aaadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).The DDC reviewed progress of registration of employees on AEBAS portal of every department and directed them to ensure cent percent registration within two days. He asked District Treasury Officer not to release salaries of any department who fail to ensure cent percent registration of their employees (all categories- regular, contractual, consolidated, Adhoc, out sourced and others) for the current month.Earlier DDC was briefed through a power point presentation about the progress achieved on the subject. It was given out that 6843 employees have been registered on AEBAS portal till date, while as total number of regular employees in the district is 7326, besides, 622 contractual, 348 consolidated, 08 Adhoc, 129 out sourced and 10168 others.Among others, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Hameeda Akhtar, Chief Planning Officer, Abdul Majeed, ACD, CEO, CMO, CAHO and others attended the meeting.
