Amid shutdown, the lawyers from District Bar Association Kishtwar Monday held protest march against the assault on Article 35-A that bars non-state subject to buy property and settle in Jammu and Kashmir.Large number lawyers who were joined by locals hold a protest march. The protesting lawyers were carrying placards with slogans in favour of retention of Article 35A.The speakers during the protest appealed people of the state to come and join hands against any tinkering with the special status enjoyed by the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.The protesting lawyers said that they want to make it clear to the Government of India that any attempt made to change the special status of the state will be vehemently resisted.Earlier a resolution was passed by the District Bar Association Kishtwar in a meeting held under the chairmanship of general secretary Kuldeep Sharma.
