Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas convened a public grievances camp at village Sailanjan, Reasi.People apprised him about their grievances which were mainly related to development of the area like augmentation of drinking water, health, power and improvement in the road networks in the area. He gave them a patient hearing and assured them that their grievances would be addressed in a time-bound manner.The MP also launched construction of road from Dhyangarh to Dharan in block Arnas of district Reasi. After inauguration, Shamsher Singh distributed gas connections to local women under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Appreciating the initiative of the central government, Shamsher Singh told the women about the health benefits of cooking with LPG fuel as compared to other traditional methods. The MP was accompanied by ADDC Reasi Ramesh Chander and other government officials.
