Member Legislative Council, Surinder Ambardar and District Development Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad  Naqash today convened a meeting to take stock of facilities available at the Migrant Colony Veerwan and other places of the district where migrants  reside.Relief Commissioner, Migrant Jammu M L Raina, President Sanathan Dram Sabha Verendar Ganjoo and President Pandith colony Veerwan Baramulla  and other members of the colony, besides officials from various Departments were present in the meeting.The meeting was apprised about demands pertaining to health, and availability of essentials at ration depot Veerwan colony, besides the need for  protection bund for Shulputri Temple at Khanpora.The DDC   assured that all of the projected demands will be taken up on priority. He issued on the spot directions to the concerned departments to  redress all the demands raised by Sanatan Dram Shaba.On the occasion, DDC said that District Administration is fully committed to mitigate the problems being faced by the people especially those migrants’  employees living in Veerwan Colony. He stressed upon the officers to provide every basic facility to the migrants besides assuring them of disposing of  their grievances at an earliest.
