DDC Ramban reviews attendance on AEBAS

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat convened a meeting with all the district officers and DDOs to review the progress of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) here today to ensure punctuality and implementation of Biometric Attendance System in government offices,on AEBAS.  The meeting was attended by the ADC, Gurvinderjeet Singh, District officers and DDOs of Engineering, Health, Education, Rural Development, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Department,besides other departments. DDC checked the attendance status of various departments on AEBAS and directed the officers to ensure installation of biometric attendance system in their offices for maintaining punctuality and effective execution of work culture in the government offices.He emphasized upon the DDOs that according to the government order, all government employees drawing salary, wages, honorarium etc, no salary or wages would be drawn in favour of the government employees of any category   unless they have enrolled themselves in Biometric Attendance System. He said that it will be the duty of the concerned DDOs to ensure enrollment as well as attendance of employees and furnish a certificate for the same along the salary, wage bill presented in the Treasury, without which the Treasury Officers are directed not to entertain any salary, wage bill.
