71st International Music & Dance Competition “Llangollen 2018” was organized by Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod at Wales, United Kingdom. Real Folk Cultural International Academy (RFCIA) from Ludhiana, Punjab represented India at this festival and won 1st Place in Folk Dance, 2ndin Traditional Folk & Choreography Folk Dance “Jhoomar” and 4th Place in Cultural Showcase.Briefing about the tour President RFCIA, Gurjeet Singh Cheema said that this festival is organized from 1947 to promote & exchange the culture between the countries. This year more than 20 countries participated in different events of the Festival. He added the tour is sponsored by Nahar Enterprise, one the Director from the company MrJagdial Singh also participates in the festival along with all members.He said the achievements become possible with hard work of all the members, which belongs to the different regions of Punjab. The dances presented by RFCIA in the competitions, well appreciated by the Jury members and the audience of festival.
