71st International Music & Dance Competition “Llangollen 2018” was organized by Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod at Wales, United Kingdom. Real Folk Cultural International Academy (RFCIA) from Ludhiana, Punjab represented India at this festival and won 1st Place in Folk Dance, 2ndin Traditional Folk & Choreography Folk Dance “Jhoomar” and 4th Place in Cultural Showcase.Briefing about the tour President RFCIA, Gurjeet Singh Cheema said that this festival is organized from 1947 to promote & exchange the culture between the countries. This year more than 20 countries participated in different events of the Festival. He added the tour is sponsored by Nahar Enterprise, one the Director from the company MrJagdial Singh also participates in the festival along with all members.He said the achievements become possible with hard work of all the members, which belongs to the different regions of Punjab. The team members wereSatvir Singh, Amarjot Singh, GurjinderKaur, Harsirat Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Jagjyot Singh Bajwa, Gursewak Singh Kailey, Harkirat Singh Sarai, Maninderpal Singh, Mangoo, Avtar Singh, TarandeepKaurNagra, YesmineKaurBajwa,JaspreetKaur, AvneetKaur, RamanpreetKaur, KhushiArora, RenuBhardwaj, Jashan, Jagmeet Singh, Dalbir Singh, Bijender Singh Sidhu, Karanbir Singh, Gurkirat Singh, Manvir Singh Manan& Ravi Kumar.RFCIA team members feel proud to represent India and brought laurels for the county. The dances presented by RFCIA in the competitions, well appreciated by the Jury members and the audience of festival. The Whole team of Real Folk Cultural International Academy (Regd.) is dedicated from theirheart to enrich the Punjabi Culture &spread the aim of brotherhood in the World.
