Punjab Cabinet Minister for Industries and Commerce Sunder Sham Arora today said that the Jain community has great contribution in nation building and stated that the Punjab government is committed for the welfare of Jain’s. He said this while attending “Sarv Mangal Chaturmas-2018” function organised here today. The function was also attended by Cabinet Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu, MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, MLAs Mr Surinder Dawar and Mr Kulbir Singh Zira, Mayor Mr Balkar Singh Sandhu, Dainik Savera Group head Mr Sheetal Vij and others.While addressing the gathering, Mr Sunder Sham Arora said that Punjab is a land of saints and Guru’s. He said that the presence of Gachhadipati Shrimad Vijay Nityanand Surishwer Ji and his followers in Punjab after a period of 22 years is a matter of great pride for all of us. He said that the Jain community has great contribution in nation building and appealed to all present to contribute further in nation building.Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu said that on his visit to the state, the Punjab government has declared Gachhadipati Shrimad Vijay Nityanand Surishwer Ji as state guest. They said that this four-month long function in Ludhiana would help in attaining internal peace for all the members of Jain community as well as others. They also welcomed the followers who have come from across the globe and assured all possible help.Prior to this function, a “Shobha Yatra” was also carried out from Clock Tower to Dharam Kamal Hall in which a large number of city residents had participated. The function was also addressed by Mr Jawahar Lal Oswal, Mr Vinod Jain and others.
