A two day faculty orientation programme on Quality & Excellence in Teaching, Learning & Practices was organized by PCJ School of Management, Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi on 17th & 18th July, 2018.  The FDP aims to provide opportunities to faculty members, research scholars to enrich their teaching skills.The workshop was inaugurated on 17th July and was graced by Mr. Vivek Atray, Renowned Speaker, Author, former IAS Govt. of Haryana, Mr. Ajay Poddar, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Texila American University, Lusaka, Zambia, Dr. Rahul Mahajan, Assistant Professor, Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, Prof R.K Gupta, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University, Sh. Suresh Gupta, Project Director,Dr. V.K Vats, Registrar,Dr. Shefali Verma, Director, School of Management & Dr. Aarti Mahendru, Organising Secretary, Faculty Orientation Programme.The event began with welcome address by Dr. Shefali Verma. She said that such Faculty Orientation Programmes provides an opportunity to enrich the Knowledge of faculties through interaction with eminent personalities.

Prof R.K Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the University emphasized that this FOP will add value in teaching and enhance the effectiveness of learning. The knowledge sharing will improve the teaching process and will benefit the society.The first session was taken by Mr. Vivek Atray. He stressed on the life skills required in global era. Participants learned various skills required for the day to day survival in the changing world. He stressed on priorities in life, integrity be a good planner with clarity and focus.Sh. Suresh Gupta Ji highlighted the role of teachers in making India a strong nation in the contemporary world. He urged teachers to think out of the box while dealing with the students. Next, session was taken by Dr. Rahul Mahajan, Assistant Professor, Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He discussed the tips and tricks to keep the skin Healthy. He spoke at length on common skin diseases like hairfall, Leucoderma also touched upon the injudicious use of OTC (Over The Counter) Cream by Quacks.In another session “How to Manage Stress” ,a presentation was given by Dr. Vineet Mehan, MAIT. At the end of Inaugural Session, Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. V.K Vats, Registrar, Maharaja Agrasen University.
