Payal MLA Undergoes Dope Test, Exhorts People To Join Anti-Drug Movement

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Payal constituency Lakhvir Singh Lakha on Monday voluntarily took the dope test at local Community Health Centre and was tested negative.On the occasion, MLA Lakha said it is the historic decision of Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh that all government employees, including police officers, to undergo mandatory dope tests from the time of recruitment through every stage of their service.MLA exhorted the people to give their wholeheartedly support to the government in its anti-drug movement to make Punjab a drug free state. He sought cooperation from the various walks of people for transforming the anti-drug movement into a social revolution to wipe out the menace of the drug completely.He told that the people must give tip-off about the persons involved in drug abuse to rout out the drugs from the state so that glory of Punjab can be restored by saving young generations from falling prey to drug menace.
