The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh,  V.P. Singh Badnore today released a book “Memories Are Made of This” written by Mr. Rajendra Shekhar, former CBI Director and former Director General of Police Rajasthan at Punjab Raj Bhawan.The book is the collection of the memoirs of the author which is divided into four segments, 59 episodes running over 243 pages. The main chapters of the book deal with the rich professional experience of the author in the Rajasthan Police and later in CBI. The touching tales of times gone by narrated by the author touches a heart warming chord with its readers.While releasing the book, the Governor recalled his long association with the author starting from his school days at Mayo College Ajmer till his attaining higher position during his 35 years of service as a police officer posted in Rajasthan and also as the CBI Director.On the occasion, the Governor also launched Chapter of Mayo College students for Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab. Addressing the old Mayo students, the Governor said that the Mayo students wherever they are settled are living with Mayo ethos i.e. the honesty. He said that the Mayo Students are creating history and have always brought a good name to the institution.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Justice (Retd.) K.S. Grewal, Mr. V.K. Kapoor, former DGP, Haryana, Mr. Mandeep Singh Bajwa,  National Security and Strategic Affair analyst and Military Historian, Mr. Maninder Singh Bains, IAS  along with many old Mayo College boys settled in and around Chandigarh and senior Civil, Police and Military officers.
