MGSIPA launches 12 days induction training program for newly-appointed employees in Moga District

Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Punjab (MGSIPA), Regional Centre Bathinda launched (Department of Personal and Training DOPT), Govt. of India sponsored 12 days Induction Training Programme for newly recruited cutting edge level state government functionaries of district Moga at Municipal Corporation Meeting Hall here today. About 60 Group-B (Non-Gazetted) and Group-C employees of different departments of district Moga who were recruited after 31-03-2013 took part in this programme.This training programme was launched by Assistant Commissioner (General), Mr. Lal Vishwash Moga. In his inaugural address Mr. Vishwash emphasised the need of team work and adopting positive attitude in the process of official dealings and disposal of their day-to-day work. He said that in this competetive world, there is a need of upgrading technologies and skills & knowledge of government fuctionories at all levels regarding various acts, rules  regulations and office procedures. He said that this kind of approach will help  in increasing our efficiency and quality of delivery services  to the people. He expressed the hope that this programme will be a successful venture and asked the participants to acuire knowledge being imparted by experts  with utmost devotion and dedication.

Speaking on the occasion Jarnail Singh, Regional Project Director, Regional Center said that the MGSIPA  organises more than 250 programmes every years on various topics such as Office Procedures, Financial Rules, RTI Act 2005, Sevottom, Audit and Budget, E-Office, E-governance, Gender Issues, Disability related matters, Induction Training Programmes, COMMIT and various other important topics. He said that in recent years, the MGSIPA has considerably has expanded scope of work and activity under the able leadership of Sh. Sarvesh Kaushal IAS, Special Chief Secretary –cum- Director General and Mrs. Raji P. Shrivastva, IAS, Director   MGSIPA, Chandigarh. He said that during the year, MGSIPA is organizing Induction Training programs in five districts of Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Moga, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Ferozepur in Punjab. He also said that in this 12 days training programme, the participants will be given training in Generic (Soft-Skills) and Domain subjects. The participants will be made conversant with the schemes of Govt. of India and Punjab, applications of Unicode, revenue Act, Cr. PC, Citizen Charter, Stress Management, Arms and Cinematography Act, Motor Vehicle Act, Art of Noting and Drafting, Office Procedure, Conduct Rules, Record Management, Financial Rules, Civil Service Rules, Audit & Budget, Filing System, Punishment & Appeal Rules, T.A./D.A. Rules, Leave Rules. He said that one-day will be spent on Site Visit and one-day on blood donation camp.Mr. Mandeep Singh Co-ordinator MGSIPA said that the participants are showing keen interest in the training programme and there is a enthusiatic response  government offices. This training will help in improving their official work and delivery of public services.
