Poonch: DC reviews DPCs, Class-IV vacancies, biometric attendance

District Development Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Aijaz today reviewed the status of Departmental Promotion committees(DPCs), Class-IV vacancies and Biometric attendance here at a meeting of District and Sectoral Officers.Directions were issued for finalization of District Level seniority lists and conduct of DPCs without further delay for providing due benefits to the employees.The officers were asked to submit details of class-IV vacancies and also initiate the recruitment process to fill up the vacancies in shortest possible time as per the instructions by the Government. He said this will address issue of manpower shortage in government offices thereby improving service delivery.Aijaz also set June 29 as deadline for shifting to biometric attendance system in all government offices. Strict directions were also issued to district treasury officer for not entertaining salary bills of offices where biometric attendance is not furnished. He said special flying squads have been constituted to monitor the attendance in government offices and strict action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against the erring officials.
