District Development Commissioner, Kulgam Sajad Hussain today chaired a meeting to review the implementation status of different schemes for development of infrastructure and other components in Education Department in the district.The meeting was attended by ACD, CPO, CEO, DY CEO, Principals of GDCs kulgam DH PORA, Kelam, ITI Kulgam and all ZEO’s of district, XENS of R&B, SSA, RMSA, AD planning and other officials of the education department.AD planning Education, Aashiq Hussain briefed the meeting about the ongoing works in district under various schemes.DDC was informed that against an approved cost of 3521.31 lakhs, 956.67 lakhs have been incurred upto ending March 2018 excluding the district Capex budget.He was informed that construction of school buildings at HSS K.B.Pora, HSS Bugam, Lab GHSS Ashmuji, High School Tarigam, Banimulla, Waltengo has been completed. The meeting was also informed that work on 100 bedded 3 girls hostels under RMSA is going in full swing and land for girls’ hostel Qaimoo needs to be identified an earliest.DDC directed the concerned authorities to complete work on school buildings of HS Bahadi Jahalan,HS Brinal, HS Shmasipora, HS Akhal within one month.He exhorted on the executing agency to work in synergy and coordination and to expedite work on under construction projects and to complete work in stipulated time.He also directed the authorities to bring in his notice all the land depute issues which are hindering the construction work of school buildings so that the matter can be disposed off at an earliest.
