District administration, Samba today observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and organized an anti-drug awareness rally which was flagged off by Executive Officer, Municipality Samba.An awareness programme was also organized in which Assistant Controller Drugs Renuka Raina made an earnest appeal to the public at large to strictly keep a close watch on their wards, especially school going children, in order to keep them away from the evils of drugs.He also laid emphasis on general public to keep an eye on those unscrupulous elements who are selling the poison in the form of drugs to innocent children.SSP Samba Anil Magotra, ADDC Samba Pankaj Mogotra, ADC Samba, Additional SP Samba, CMO Samba, district officers from various departments, officials from Drugs and Food Safety, members of Lion Club Samba, People’s Forum for Human Value Samba, Young Blood Donar Association Samba, Rotary Club Samba and students were also present on the occasion.
