State Congress president Prof Saif-u-Din Soz Tuesday said that the manifesto issued by the BJP was nothing short of spreading falsehood. Addressing an election rally at Marh Jammu, Soz said that the Congress party had fulfilled  many promises such as incorporation of 73rd Amendment in the Panchayat Act of the State, Package for settlement of Refugees and Jatts, One Rank One Pension for Ex-Servicemen and many such things and assured them further that it would serve their best interests in future. He said that building of Ram Temple, abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India and Common Civil Code had been mentioned in all the manifestoes during the last  twenty years, but BJP had failed to take any action in this behalf. “It was falsehood then and it is falsehood today. BJP was in power at the centre for more than six years, and they did not do anything to achieve this goal,” he said.He expressed satisfaction that NC-INC coalition had remained steadfast in the Parliamentary elections and have been working hard to ensure the victory of Coalition members in the forthcoming elections.
